to the Talon of the 1920s as we learn more about The Court of Owls!"
Alright looks like the solicits are out and I can finally talk about this. TALON #14 (December) is my final issue of the series.

When I got on the book, I had a huge story I wanted to tell, and in reaching the end it seemed like a great place to step off.

I'll always love Calvin Rose, Casey Washington and the gang, and I'm incredibly excited to see what new writers can bring to the COO mythos

In the meanwhile, I'll be turning my focus to working full-steam ahead on BATMAN: ETERNAL and several other things I can't talk about yet :)

So yeah! Issues 12-14 are the BIG FINALE of everything I've been building towards since #0. Could not be more excited for you all to see!

Just to be clear for folks who haven't read the solicits! Talon is NOT cancelled! @EvilMarguerite is writing #15 and it's going to be GREAT!

Y'all are the sweetest! :D My Talon #15 is a one-shot--a horror story about a new African American Talon, set in 1920s. >:)
— Marguerite Bennett (@EvilMarguerite) October 14, 2013
Fun fact, Talon #15 is also the first script I ever wrote for DC, done solo while @Ssnyder1835 and I were working on the Batman Annual. :)
