L'année des cérémonies de remises de prix suit son cours aux Etats-Unis. Dans la foulée des Eisner Awards, les Ringo Awards (pour Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards), une autre occasion de se passer les statuettes, a annoncé ses sélections en amont de l'événement prévu pour cet automne. Comme d'habitude, la cérémonie viendra se raccrocher aux festivités de la Baltimore Comic Con, prévue pour la fin du mois de septembre dans la cité portuaire du Maryland.
Les Nommés Sont
Avec un nombre important de catégories, largement comparable aux grandes sections des Eisner Awards, le Ringo Awards fonctionnent sur le même principe, en proposant aux professionnels de l'industrie de s'exprimer sur les grandes oeuvres de l'année passée. En l'occurrence, avec une liste dans laquelke nous retrouvons donc quelques unes des évidences de cette session calendaire, même si les Ringo Awards acceptent généralement de consacrer une part plus importante aux auteurs et aux autrices du secteur indépendant et aux projets plus exigeants (avec pas mal de titres en provenance de Fantagraphics et Drawn & Quarterly notamment). Et assez peu de Marvel en ligne de mire, comme d'habitude.

Peut-être qu'Absolute Batman en profitera pour poursuivre son grand chelem ?
